Pelvic Floor Fellow at St Thomas' Hospital London

An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Pelvic Floor Unit at St Thomas' Hospital for a Pelvic Floor Fellow. The post-holder will have a skill mix which will support service provision within the Colorectal Unit, comprising of outpatients, theatres and endoscopy departments, as well as the Pelvic Floor Unit, based on Mitchener Ward. This job does not carry an on-call commitment. The applicant will have interest in developing specialised skills within Pelvic Floor and will be interested in taking part in research within the unit. There will be opportunity for consideration of this research to culminate in a higher degree. The post is for a fixed term for 6 months initially with the possibility of this term being extended. 

St Thomas’ has six colorectal surgeons Mr Edward Westcott, Mr Alexis Schizas, Mr George, Mr Williams, Mr Vivek Datta and Mr Amir Darakhshan.  The unit has special interests in inflammatory bowel disease surgery, locally advanced, recurrent rectal cancer resection and laparoscopic surgery and has a tertiary referral pelvic floor unit, with regular MDMs held in each of these subspecialties.
